At1 ta2 vakhshya3 ishento4 Now1 I will speak3 to the assembled4 of the two2, Now I will speak to the assembled of the two
  ya1 Mazdatha2 hyat3 chit4 vidushe5   who1 Mazda-created2 be3 it4 known5,   who were created by Mazda, be it known
staota1 cha2 ahurai3 with2 hymns1 and2 divine3 And sing hymns with divine dedications
  yesnya1 cha2 vangheush3 manangho4   dedications1, and2 highest3 thoughts4,   and the highest thoughts
hu-manzdra1 ashaye2 cha3 and3 the good-principles1 of Asha2, And the good principles of Asha
  ya1 raochebish2 daresara3 urvaza4   - that which1 is the light2 of guidance3 for souls towards bliss4   that light the path for souls towards bliss

sraota1 gueshaish2 vahishta3 Listen1 with (your) ears2 the highest3 (ideals), Listen with your ears the highest ideals
  avaenata1 sucha2 manangha3   consider1 the most enlightened2 thoughts3,   consider the most enlightened thoughts
avarenao1 vichithahya2 then between the two1 choose2 Then let the path between the two be chosen

manahi1 cha2 vachahi3 cha4 in thoughts1 and2 words3 and4 In thought and word and deed
  shyathanoi1 hi2 vahyo3 akem4 cha5   deeds1, apart2, the good3 and5 the bad,4   separate, the better and the bad
aos1 cha2 hu-daongho3* eresh4 vishyata5 And2 of which1 the hu-daongho3* rightly4 choose5 And of these two the wise do rightly choose
  noit1 duz-daongho2* (but) not1 the duz-daongho2*   but not so those in ignorance.
    
2*note: duz-daongho = possessing evil thoughts. Also ignorant, stupid, destructive, vile, malignant, malicious (qualities of the dregvant. See 30.4 below) 3*note: hu-daongho = possessing good thoughts or sense. Also wise, judicious, constructive, beneficent (qualities of the ashavan. See 30.4 below)

  jasetem1 paourvim2 dazde3   gathered1 in the beginning2, they produced3   foregathered, they produced

  yatha-cha1 anghat2 apemem3 angheush4   which1 became2 ultimately3 in life4   which ultimately became in life
achisto1 dregvatam2 the baseness1 of the dregvant2 The baseness of the dregvant
