Faloodeh - Dessert with Store-Bought Rice Noodles
Ingredients: (4 servings)
• 3 cups rice noodles
• 1 cup rose syrup or sorbet
Prepare/boil the rice noodles according to the package directions. Strain the noodles and allow them to cool for about 30 minutes stirring occasionally. Add the rose syrup, mix and place in the freezer for about 5 hours or until cold and firm. Occasionally, stir the mixture. The faloodeh/syrup mixture can be served in a bowl with a wedge of lime or a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
Sour cherry syrup, mint, and pistachios are traditional garnishes. Raspberries, strawberries, blueberries or any other fresh fruits are other possible toppings.
